"I approach psychotherapy as a conversation between equals, and bring curiosity to know you with empathy and integrity. At different times in life we can find ourselves facing challenges, feeling unsatisfied, stuck, overwhelmed, or in crisis. You might want to feel different, make changes to how you are living, or experience more fulfilment and joy. I provide a confidential, safe space for you to explore your experiences, issues and desires. I support you to grow your self-awareness and to identify ways of being that are and are not working for you. This understanding can empower you to make different choices for yourself, so that you may live with more confidence, purpose and satisfaction."

"I care deeply about helping my clients to find their way towards stability. My experience to date has involved working with people who no longer want to feel anxious, overwhelmed, stressed or stuck. The stories that we tell ourselves about ourselves an be our greatest undoing. The shame and pain that is contained in these stories can be suffocating. I offer a non-judgemental and compassionate space to untangle and understand the roots of these feelings, allowing you to say the unsaid within the safety of the therapy room. With an awarness and whole body apprach I can help you to understand how your life experiences manifest in your thought processes, feelings, behaviours and your physical body. "My work is very much person centred and relies on the felt sense of the bodily experience, where possible, and when a sense of safety and trust has been well established between us. This intimate and shared field of experience benefits from, but is not exclusive to, face to face work. I tend to emphasise the importance of getting to the root of what is distressing you to get beyond the surface symptoms. While I am often surprised by our capacity to suddently 'break through into new territory and transform, it requires a great deal of careful nurturing and support, over time, to establish ground and a sense of rootness. I therefore prefer to work more on a long term basis but am happy to work short term as well."
